 Mr. Ari delivered Guest Lecture on " Zero Accident Vision( ZAV) in Cement Factories" at Ramco Cements arranged by Directorate Of Industrial Safety and Health, Tiruchirapalli Region on 8th May, 2019.He addressed a gathering of around 100 Safety Officers(SO) from various Cement Industries in Ariyalur. He spoke on the philosophy of Zero Accident Vision "which states that nobody should be injured due to an accident". It is more a way of thinking rather than a numerical goal; In terms of accident prevention strategies, Zero Accident Vision can be viewed as a way of thinking; this proposes that all accidents can be prevented. When no accidents are allowed or approved, this provides a basis for learning from accidents and improving processes.He also spoke on various topics " Behaviour based on safety, 5S, FMEA, Proactive safety measurement, Zero Accident Vision ". He was felicitated and appreciated by Safety Officers, they thoroughly enjoyed the practical hands-on experience and examples that were quoted.
