CAPM® Exam Prep Course - "PLAN 1- Guaranteed Pass" 


International Institute of Project Management (IIPM)
, a Registered Education Provider (REP) of PMI®, USA conducts CAPM® Exam Prep Course Public / Corporate Training Courses in the week ends / weekdays / evenings totaling to 23 hours of Contact education covering all 9 knowledge areas of  PMBOK® Guide-4th Edition 2008 and the domain of Professional responsibility in alignment with PMI's PMBOK® Guide-4th Edition 2008. Other customized timings can also be worked out depending on the corporate clients' convenience. This course fulfills the new mandatory requirement of PMI® for 23 hrs of training in Project Management, before any one applies for the CAPM® exam.

Revised Eligibility Requirements:

 
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have achieved either 1,500 hours of experience working on a project team, or completed 23 contact hours of formal project management education, where one contact hour is equivalent to one actual hour of training or instruction received. Candidates may satisfy the education requirement by successfully completing courses and/or workshops such as those offered by PMI’s Registered Education Providers (R.E.P.s). Applicants are not required to be PMI® members to list CAPM® in their curriculum vitae or on their business card.  The credential is valid for five years. Candidates must retest at the close of every five-year period to retain their credential.

Preparing for the Revised Examination:
 

 
The CAPM® test is a 150 question multiple-choice exam with a three-hour time limit.  Candidates must demonstrate their knowledge of project management terms in context, as covered by the five Project Management Process Groups and nine Knowledge Areas, and described in the New PMBOK® Guide - Fourth Edition 2008.

Taking the Examination:

Fees Structure: The exam costs $225.00 (US) for PMI® members and $300.00 (US) for nonmembers

The Program Structure

      CAPM Exam Prep Course are scheduled around the world at convenient locations.  This 23-hour contact education course can be taken either on any schedules announced

  • 2 Week-ends (Sat / Sundays) 9.0 am thru 6.0 pm for 5 days

  • The Introduction provides key fundamentals of project management. You'll discover the basic facts of Project Management and its successful implementation, organizational structures, the project sponsor, the life cycle phases, the main skills and expectations of Project Managers.
     
  • Project Scope Management lays the foundation of how to systematically identify the key deliverables of the project.
     
  • Project Time (Schedule) Management takes the deliverables identified in the scope definition process breaks them down further if needed and then develops the project schedule.
     
  • Project Human Resources Management addresses the essential staffing issues for the project.
     
  • Project Cost Management covers the cost control methodology. Project Risk Management is a critical area, which identifies the risks, analyses them and plans ways to handle them.
     
  • Project Quality Management ensures there is a plan for managing, assuring and controlling the project's quality.
     
  • Project Procurement (Contract) Management covers the essentials of procurement decisions and contract administration principles.
     
  • Project Communications Management helps participants understand team communications issues and how to build consensus among various project groups.
     
  • Project Risk Management is a critical area, which identifies the risks, analyses them and plans ways to handle them.

The last portion of the Program is dedicated to answering participants' questions and giving a final 1-hour or 100 questions based mock test / sample exam that integrates all modules without separating knowledge areas. This helps evaluate the participants' overall understanding of the concepts presented throughout the Program and prepares them for the actual PMP® exam.

 

Bring This Program On-Site to Your Organization:

Registration Confirmation:

At least 7 days before the start of the course. Registration fee per candidate is(Rs.18,000/= + 12.36 % service tax) only. The fee includes Course materials; lunch, snacks/refreshments and a sample MOCK test from 2500 strong PM Question Bank.
 

23-Hour education Certificate:

A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to all attendees, which shall be presented to PMI® for the
23-hrs

This module lays out the steps required to achieving success in all projects. This first phase of the Program details the importance of authorization, scope planning, scope definition, and scope verification and change control.

Terms & Conditions

         1. Candidates should ensure that they followed all the tips and traps given in the class and took
             minimum 7 – 10 mock tests from IIPM – CAPM exam prep CD before the 1st attempt of the CAPM
             exam (Screen shot of results page recommended).

        2. 1st attempt of the CAPM exam should be made within 3 calendar months (90 days) from the date of
            completion of the 23 hours mandatory training. Failing to make the first attempt of CAPM exam within
            60 days devoids the Guaranteed Pass scheme irrespective of any break in the course completion.
            (Please note that IIPM guarantees pass in the first attempt based only on its vast experience and
               the
merits of training offered and not through any other means.)

        3. In case a candidate under this scheme “PLAN 1 – Guaranteed Pass” is unsuccessful in the first
           attempt, IIPM's guarantee / liability is limited to

                   i.  One time Re-imbursement of CAPM exam fee of US $ 150 or equivalent by Cheque only.
                   ii.  Post training support will be provided through E-mail, telephone, Yahoo group ‘iipmpmpcert’
                       membership 180 days from the date of 1st Attempt Exam.
                   iii. No other fee or support provided as part of this scheme.

      By signing for this IIPM-CAPM exam prep "PLAN 1-Guaranteed Pass" course, I confirm that I have
      understood thoroughly the following 3 points.
