Project Management (IIPM), Chennai hosted the High-Tea lecture on
the hot topic “New PMP® Exam Changes” on Saturday,
31st December 2011 at Hotel Southern Crest, T.Nagar. The event provided an
excellent opportunity to the PMP aspirants who want to upgrade themselves
on changes to new exam pattern in PMP® Examination which is aligned to New
PMBOK® Guide 4th Edition.
The lecture was opened by Mr.O.Arivazhagan, B.E (Hons), PMP, MBB, CEO,
IIPM on the event main theme “New PMP® Exam Changes". In his speech, he
clearly explained that the new changes are based on updates to the
professional role of a PMP® credential holder recently found by PMI’s Role
Delineation Study (RDS).
Mrs. Deiva Preetha explained briefly about the concepts of cross cutting
knowledge & skills like Active Listening, Oral Written Communication,
Presentation Tools & Techniques, Brainstorming Techniques, Project
Management software etc.
Mr. O.Arivazhagan kept the audience's interest live and kept open answers
to the second half of the lecture in Q & A session. Participants
interacted actively with Mr. Ari and got their doubts clarified in
communication style, cultural diversity, information & time management. He
also gave some test preparation tips for PMP® Examination. The lecture
provided an ideal setup for the PMP aspirants to learn more about new PMP®
Exam changes.
The event came to end with High Tea snacks wherein the PM professionals
networked and exchanged their views on new PMP® Exam Changes.
