Mr.O.Arivazhagan, B.E
(Honors), PMP, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, MBB, CFM (HFI, USA) CEO, IIPM, was
invited as Chief Guest for the Inaugural function of
Arulmuruga Technical Campus in Karur held on 30th
August 2012.
The Inauguration function commenced with the presidential address
by
Mr. V. Chandrasekaran, Chairman,
Arulmuruga Technical Campus and facilitation address by Mr.
P. V. Kandasaamy, M.Tech, Correspondent,
Arulmuruga Technical Campus.
The Inaugural Address given by Mr. Ari, to a gathering of nearly 1700
students/parents, aimed at providing confidence to the students;
learn how to see everything differently, how to convert failure into success and to know the value of “Time”.
He started his speech with a note on “Perception Difference” and also his
biography to seed “Confidence” among the rural students and their parents
who had gathered at the inaugural function.
He mentioned with pride that he passed his Civil Engineering with Honors,
despite hailing from a rural background and modest family.
In his speech, he said, each person is an “ENGINEER” by the Design of
God. He quoted an innovative example wherein he considers the whole human
body as a highly “ENGINEERED” one by nature. He drew the
imagination of the Mechanical Engineering Students to see “HUMAN HEART”
differently as a never-stopping mechanical pump and provided a completely
different perception about the human heart to the future mechanical
engineers so as to dream of such an innovative mechanical pump which would last for
more than 50-75 yrs "without any Maintenance”.
He also drew the imagination of the Civil Engineering Students to
view the “Human Skeleton/ Bone Structure” as "STEEL STRUCTURE" of a
building and the “Flesh” around it as the "CONCRETE" surrounding the steel
bars. Thus, he pointed out that, Civil Engineering principles were
applied by God as early when He created human beings.

He said civil engineers are considered the Architects of a Nation. They
shape the whole country. Earlier, the “Wheel” was considered the symbol of
progress (Mechanical), but today “Road” is considered the symbol of progress
(Civil). The first
thing for a village to prosper in a country is road connectivity. The
roads are laid by civil engineers. He said that the civil engineer studies have
helped him to see everything in different perspectives.
Similarly, he drew the imagination of the Computer Engineering Students to
view the “HUMAN BRAIN” as a computer’s Hard Disk. Further,
he kindled the thoughts of the future computer engineers to manufacture a
CPU that would house an integrated HARD DISK with RAM as our
“BRAIN” has been ENGINEERED by the God.
It was clearly visible that Mr. Ari's address to nearly 1700
students/parents assembled there gave lots of confidence not only to
the students but
also to their parents and to the Institution, as well.
Vote of thanks was
given by Mr. C. Jegadeesan, Secretary, Arulmuruga Technical Campus,
at the end of the inaugural function.
