Mr. O. Arivazhagan, B.E (Honors), PMP, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, MBB, CFM (HFI, USA) CEO, IIPM, was invited by Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College & IYCN (Indian Youth Climate Network) to flag - off the campaign - “Awareness Walk on Global Warming and Climate Change” from Light house to Vivekananda Memorial, Marina Beach.

While addressing the public, Mr. Ari talked about fuel saving and reduction of carbon-di-oxide emission. He asked every individual to turn off the ignition of the vehicles instead of keeping them on, while waiting at the traffic signals. This would help to save fuel and prevents the emission of carbon-di-oxide at least for that one minute.

TV channels like Jaya TV, Vijay TV, Raj TV, Zee Tamil, Makkal TV, etc were present at the campaign. The program was covered well by the media.
