successful 1-Day conference on “Brainstorming of New PMBOK® Guide 5th
Edition” on 2nd February 2013 at Chennai as a Professional
Responsibility to the Project Managers of the PM Profession around the
world. This conference was also broadcasted live to the international
audience from USA, Qatar, Dubai, Singapore, etc.; for simultaneous
interaction and participation.

Well, the session was quite useful, to fill
the knowledge gap, from PMBOK to 5th Edition. 1-hr panel discussion was
interesting and fantastic knowledge sharing. Mr. Ari’s “Bird as a major
stakeholder – story” was very interesting and notable.

This conference was an excellent
opportunity to know about the changes to all the nine existing
Knowledge Areas in the New PMBOK® Guide 5th Edition in a crisp
and professional environment. There was also 1 hour Panel
discussion on “The need for Project Stakeholder Management as the
new 10th Knowledge Area” which was well received & highly
appreciated by the audience and the conference was rated 9 out
of 10 by most the participants.
It is not out of place to mention one of the feedbacks of a
participant from the IT industry/e-learning that, “In this
conference every 25,200 seconds was informative, precious & value
adding”.
In this conference Mr. C. Velan,
Executive Director & CEO,TRIL Info Park Ltd. was invited to
deliver a special address on ‘Current trend in Real
Estate & Construction Projects’ which the participants found
highly fruitful, informative & interesting.
